Over the past 45 years, the 200-strong Égide team has developed unique know-how in international exchange programmes, and built up a wide-reaching network of international partners to meet the needs of its clients’ personnel on missions abroad and students on its clients’ scholarship schemes.
Partnering companies and associations on international exchange programmes
Égide offers a full range of reception and management services for foreign students and researchers on its clients’ programmes in France, and for missions abroad by French experts and students.
Égide has been a key partner of the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs from the outset, and of the French petroleum group Total since 2004. Many other French organizations call on Égide to manage the study programmes of their scholarship holders, on programmes such as Copernic.
Égide also offers student scholarship management services for non-profit associations and foundations.
Services closely matched to clients’ needs
Égide offers specially tailored services covering all aspects of its clients’ international exchange programmes, for foreign students coming to France or French students going abroad, from initial selection under the client’s applicant recruitment process through to students’ return to their countries of origin.
Services are closely matched to our clients’ needs, and we can help clients draw up precise specifications for their programmes.

The Copernic programme is run under an industry partnership programme by the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs. It takes the form of a 12-month management course for students from Central and Eastern Europe, specializing in engineering, law or economics, plus an in-company module of six to nine months. Partner companies include Air Liquide, Arcelor Mittal, BNP, Bouygues Construction, GDF Suez, Groupe Danone, Groupe Crédit Agricole, L'Oréal, Renault, Société Générale and Sofinco.
Égide provides full management and reception services for students on the Copernic programme.
Partnership with Total on reception of scholarship holders
In 2008, Égide worked with Total to put together a full exchange programme for 80 students from Africa, the Middle East, Iran and Indonesia. In 2009, a dozen Total scholarship holders will be coming to Pau (south-west France) under this made-to-measure programme.
