Organization and management of applicant recruitment campaigns
As well as taking charge of international exchange programmes on behalf of the French Foreign Affairs or Higher Education Ministries, Égide also organizes and manages applicant recruitment campaigns. Full information on programme content and application procedures is published on the Égide website, and wider reach may be sought by press, mail or billboard operations.
For students, researchers and universities, the Égide website provides a highly convenient single entry point for finding information on programmes and submitting applications.
Applicants can download application forms from the Égide website. Égide then centralizes incoming applications, performs initial selection to specified criteria, sets up selection commissions with experts from the programme organizers, and informs applicants on the results of the process.
Eiffel excellence scholarship programme: Eiffel scholarships provide top-class postgraduate study opportunities for elite foreign students under the international outreach programmes of major French universities.
French scholarships abroad: French scholarship abroad programmes address students and young researchers from Collège d'Europe.
Hubert Curien Partnership (PHC), COFECUB and ECO-NET: These are exchange programmes between French and foreign research laboratories.
At the post-selection stage, Égide handles transport and accommodation arrangements for the scholarship-holders. It also does this on other programmes (without providing applicant recruitment service), such as the Thales Academia scheme co-financed by Thales and the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
